Usage Rules
DoGold on Dark

Use #D4B895 for primary CTAs, key labels, accent borders, and emphasis on dark backgrounds. It signals action and hierarchy without demanding attention.

Don'tGold on Gold-adjacent

Never place the gold accent on light backgrounds or gold-tinted surfaces. Contrast must remain legible — always meet 4.5:1 ratio for text.

DoWarm White for Text

Use #F5F0EA (warm white) or opacity-reduced variants for body text. Pure #FFFFFF feels cold against the warm background tones.

Don'tCool Grays

Never introduce cool grays or blue-tinted neutrals. All neutrals must remain warm-tinted — they reinforce the brand's institutional warmth.

Container side padding on desktop. Reduces to 48px → 24px at tablet and mobile breakpoints.
160px
Section Padding
Vertical breathing room between major sections at desktop. Reduces to 80px on mobile.

Language Principles
Use
  • Structured, evaluated, assessed
  • Intelligence, architecture, framework
  • Defensible, transparent, explainable
  • Precision, discipline, clarity
  • Institutional, executive, strategic
  • Define, evaluate, allocate, govern
  • Short declarative sentences
Avoid
  • Cutting-edge, next-gen, revolutionary
  • Game-changing, disruptive, innovative
  • Noise, chaos, mess, gut feeling
  • Simple, easy, quick, fast
  • Powerful, robust, seamless
  • Exclamation marks or informal language
  • Passive voice or unnecessary qualifiers
Headline Examples
Correct Direction
We prioritize clarity over complexity and precision over convention.
Declarative. Contrasts two values without filler. Reads like a principle, not a tagline.
Avoid
Our cutting-edge AI platform revolutionizes how you make decisions!
Hyperbolic, vague, uses overloaded terms. Exclamation mark is never appropriate for this brand.
Correct Direction
Begin deliberately. Define structure. Scale with consequence.
Three commands. Each earns its place. Rhythm through repetition of form, not length.
Avoid
We help businesses leverage data-driven insights to unlock their full potential.
Generic, passive, buzzword-dense. Could belong to any company. Zero specificity.

Motion

Easing Curves — Hover to preview
Ease Out Expo
cubic-bezier(0.16, 1, 0.3, 1)
Primary easing. Fast start, long smooth deceleration. Used for page-load reveals, hero animations, and large elements entering the viewport.
Ease Out Quart
cubic-bezier(0.25, 1, 0.5, 1)
Secondary easing. Slightly shorter deceleration tail. Used for UI interactions: hover states, button transitions, accordion open/close.
Duration Reference
100ms Micro-interactions — hover color changes, opacity shifts Instant feel
200–250ms Button states, badge transitions, small UI feedback Snappy
300–350ms Nav animations, card hovers, dropdown opens Responsive
450–500ms Accordion expand/collapse, panel transitions Deliberate
600–800ms Scroll reveals, section entry animations Cinematic
1000ms+ Hero entry sequences only. Never repeat on scroll. Singular impact
Animate
  • transform (translate, scale, rotate)
  • opacity
  • grid-template-rows (for height)
  • color, background-color
  • box-shadow
Never Animate
  • width, height, padding, margin
  • transition: all (performance killer)
  • Bounce or elastic easing
  • Repeated scroll animations
  • Auto-playing video or motion
